Permits and Washington State Compliance
Washington State Health Department requires all Food Trucks and Trailers operating in Washington State to be in full compliance with and permitted by the Washington State Department of Labor And Industries before issuing Health Department Permits. CFT’s coordinates very closely with various State Health Departments and the Washington State Department of Labor And Industries throughout CFT’s design and build process so that every truck or trailer we build passes WA State L&I Inspections and is legally allowed to operate in WA State.
Pre-purchase Inspections
Buying used non-Washington L&I compliant Food Trucks and Trailers can be very trying and stressful. Let CFT help reduce your stress and frustration. CFT offers pre-purchase inspections and quotes to bring your Food Truck or Trailer into compliance for a nominal fee that will be credited back if you decide to move forward with your project.
Upgrades and Retrofits
Upgrading and retrofitting Food Trucks and Trailers typically involve a combination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, as well as adherence to specific regulations and standards, e.g., ETL/UL listed equipment, set by the state. CFT will prepare updated CAD drawings for your Food Truck or Trailer’s hood, fire suppression system, plumbing, and electrical systems for the State/Approving Authority’s submittal review and approval.
